NOTICE TO THE PUBLIC The Commission of Game and Inland Fisheries at a meeting held in Richmond, Virignia, on April 13, 1979, adopted the following amended or new regulations pursuant to Sections 29-125, 29-126 and 29 127 of the Code of Virginia, to become effective July 1,1979.
CHAPTER 2.
In General (Game). R2-3. It shall be unlawful to take or attempt to take wild animals and wild birds, with the exception of crows, by the use or aid of recorded wild animal or wild bird calls or sounds or recorded or electrically amplified imitation of wild animal or wild bird calls' or sounds. R2-13. It shall be unlawful to set above the ground any steel leg-hold trap with teeth set. upon the laws, or larger than size No. 2, or with a law spread exceeding six and onehalf inches.
CHAPTER 4. Beaver. R4-1. It shall be lawful to trap beaver from December 1 through the last day of February, both dates inclusive.
CHAPTER 5. Bobcat. R5-01. Except as otherwise; specifically provided by thtf regulations appearing In this chapter, it shall be lawful to hunt bobcat by day and night from November 1 through January 31, both dates inclusive.
