Conference
“Career Opportunities in the Humanities: A Conference For Women" will be held at Northern Virginia Community College’s Annandale Campus on Friday, April 18 from 9:00 a.m. to 4:CK) p.m.
Women with backgrounds in liberal arts, active in widely varying careers, will discuss the opportunities in their fields and the process they used to enter and build their careers.
Noted speakers include Dr. Estelle Ramey, professor at Georgetown University; Judy Mann, columnist for the Washington Post; Emily Womach, President of the Women’s Bank; and Martha Pennino of the Fairfax County Board of Supervisors.
A registration fee of $5 for the conference includes morning coffee and lunch. All events will take place in room CC 120 on the Annandale Campus.
