BROWNED RICE
Makes 8 servings (Sodium content-1.4 mg.-serving)
6 tablespoons (*/« stock) unsalted margarine
1 cup raw white rice
2 cups water
V* cup chopped onion
'/« teaspoon sage
Heat margarine in saucepan. Add rice and cook, stirring constantly, over low heat, until rice is slightly browned. Remove from heat. Gradually Stir in water; add chopped, onto^, and sageReturn to heat and.bring to a boil. Cover; simmer about 12 to 15 min. or until all liquid is absorbed. Serve hot.
