MRS. ALVIN BAIRD, Genealogical Records chairman of the Elizabeth McIntosh Hammill Chapter, National Society, Daughters of the American Revolution, left was the speaker for the March meeting of the Culpeper Minutemen Chapter NSDAR. She spoke on her book, “Fauquier County, Virginia Tombstone Inscriptions”. Mrs. George Taylor of Culpeper and Mrs. C. E. Johnson, Jr. of Sperryville, both members of the Culpeper Chapter, enjoyed seeing the book. The Culpeper Chapter will meet next on April 8 at the Culpeper United Methodist Church. Mrs. John S. Kearns, who just completed three years as State Conservation Chairman, will present a program on “Endangered Species.”
