Additional members may be elected at large who shall not exceed 20 percent of the actual number of committee members.
2. Electing three (3) Delegates and three (3) Alternates to the Seventh District Convention of the Republican Party of Virginia to be held on Saturday, May 10, 1980, at the Western Albemarle High School, Albemarle County, Virginia, or its alternate site, at 10:00 A.M. for the purpose of (a) electing a District Chairman, (b| nominating a candidate for the U. S. House of Representatives from the Seventh Congressional District of Virginia, to be voted on in the General Election, November 4, 1980, (c) electing three (3) Delegates and three (3) Alternates to the National Convention to be held at the Joe Lewis Arena, Detroit, Michigan, or its alternate site, beginning on July 14, 1980, (d| electing three (3) members of the State Central Committee, (e) nominating one (1} elector to be voted on in the Presidential election on November 4, 1980, (f) for transacting such other business as may properly come before the Convention.
3. Electing three (31 Delegates and three (3) Alternates to the State Convention of the Republican Party of Virginia to be held at the Richmond Coliseum, Richmond, Virginia, or its alternate site, starting at 2:00 P.M. local time on Friday, June 6, 1980, for the purpose of (a) electing a State Chairman, a National Committeeman and a National Committeewoman, (b) electing twenty-one (21) Delegates and twenty-oen (21) Alternates to the National Convention in Detroit, Michigan, (c) nominating two (2) electors-at-large to be voted on in the Presidential election, (d) for the transaction of such other business as may properly come before the Convention.
4. Transacting such other business as may properly come before the Mass Meeting.
There will be a registration fee of SI .00 charged at the Mass Meeting of the Republican Party of Rappahannock County.
All persons interested in being nominated as Delegates or Alternates to the Seventh Congressional District and Virginia State Conventions must file their intent with the Unit Chairman prior to April 11, 1980.
All legal and qualified voters of Rappahannock County, regardless of race, religion, color, national origin or sex, under the laws of the Commonwealth of Virginia, who are in accord with the principals of the Republican Party and who express in open meeting, if requested, their intent to support all of its nominees for public office at the ensuing election, may participate as members of the Republican Party of Virginia in this mass meeting.
