The board voted on Monday to increase the amount for leaded gasoline from $85,500 in the recommended budget to $95,000, figuring on a $2 cost per gallon. At the same time, they voted to limit usage to 45,000, a reduction of 10 per cent. They included a proviso that unexpended fuel funds will be turned over to the supervisors at the end of the year.
Moving over from budget to policy. Masterson proposed that no vehicle in the transportation fleet leave school property without a trip ticket being filled out, including information on date, destination, mileage and any defects noticed in the vehicle.
