The Madison-Rappahannock Fruit Growers Committee invites you to join us for our 1980 Spring series of orchard educational meetings and tours. This series of ‘‘in the orchard" meetings will start the first Wednesday in April and will continue each Wednesday in April and every other Wednesday in May. We will meet at the host orchard at 11 a.m. and tour the orchard with the grower, joined by Ed Phillips, Bob Horsburgh, Keith Yoder, Calvin Lyons, or other fruit specialists. We will eat lunch together at 12 noon and discuss current problems and cpntrol recommendations, and you should be on your way home by 12:30. Bring your own lunch and the host orchardist will furnish drinks.

April 2, Rappahannock: Jens Tholand’s Piedmont Farms on Route 231 in F.T. Valley south of Sperryville.
April 9, Madison: R. S. Graves Brothers, meet Turner Graves at Packing Shed in Syria.
April 16, Rappahannock: Allen Y. Stokes, from 231 about 2 miles south of Sperryville, turn east on 621, about 1 mile.
April 23, Madison; W. E. Coates, Jr., Etlan, meet at home orchard about one mile west of 231 on Route 646. (Turn just north of Etlan.)
April 30, Rappahannock: Jerry Jenkins orchard south of Sperryville, turn east from 231 onto 621, go past Stokes’ orchard (see above!)
May 14, Madison: Alvin Meadows orchard at Criglersville, meet at his packing shed, just across river above Criglersville on 672.
May 28, Rappahannock: Captain George Sharp-Take Route 622 north-west from Washington (Va.) about 1 mile and turn right on Rt. 624.
