The Virginia Soil and Water Conservation Commission will conduct four regional public hearings in mid-April on the draft 1980 Virginia Erosion and Sediment Control Handbook.
This new Handbook will replace the original 1974 State Handbook and establish new State minimum criteria, standards 'ahd specifications for the control of erosion and sedimentation from construction related land disturbing activities in Virginia.
The regional public hearing closest to Rappahannock will be conducted on Tuesday, April 15, at 7:00 p.m. in Leesburg. 4*.
