To the editor:

On behalf of the Washington Volunteer Fire Department, I would like to thank all those who helped to make our July 4 fair a success. We raised enough money to pay our bills for the next month or so. ,

Thanks are particularly due to Roger Roach and Charley Manson, who put in many hours of work to plan the events, and to all who contibuted their time and energy on the Fourth.
