Pony Club
The 4-H Horse and Pony Club clinic held July 8-10 in Amissville was a resounding success with eight regulars from all over the county attending each of the three days.
The Tirst day started with basic etiquette for riding in an arena and work at the trot then moved on to introductory jumping in the afternoon.
Daily lectures by 4-H Leader Jane Narramore covered basic stable management.
The second day included exercises at the canter in the morning session and games and races in the afternoon.
An extra-long riding session on the final day offered more advanced jumping, while a quiz and an obstacle race after lunch summarized what the clinic had covered in both practice and theory.
Plans are in the ofTing for another clinic before school starts and future ones to be held during school holidays.

Revival
Revival services will be held at Five Forks Regular Baptist Church near Woodville July 21-25 at 7:30 each evening with Evangelist Jerry Knight of Williamsburg. Pa. as guest speaker. The public is invited to attend.
