Gwen Jordan, daughter of Mr. Otis Jordan of Aniissville. turned in a special performance at the Virginia Special Olympics held last month at Virginia Tech, finishing second in both the 200 meter run and the standing long jump.
A junior next year at Rappahannock County High School, Gwen represented the county among the 1,500 athlete's from around the state who competed in the Special Olympics.
