On September 2 and 4 between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m., a pre-school screening assessment will be held for all children under the age of 4, at the Rappahannock County Elementary School. The assessment will be in the areas of coordination, self-help, movement, social and language development.
Rappahannock County Public Schools are required by Public Law 94-142 to hold a county-wide child find. The purpose of the screening is to locate, identify and plan an educational training program lor children who have or are suspected of having any of the following conditions: visual. speech. hearing disorders, multiple handicaps. special health problems, learning and developmental delays.
The pre-school screening program is at no cost to the parents.
Please bring your preschooler to the Rappahannock County Elementary School on September 2 (Tuesday) and September 4 (Thursday) between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m. It could make a difference in your child's growth and development!
