The double-ring ceremony was performed by the Rev. Jerry Young and traditional wedding music was provided by Mrs. Betty Baggarly.
The bride wore a long gown of pink and blue rose print on a white background designed with a fluted collar around the low neckline and long sleeves. The gathered skirt had a deep flounce at the hemline. She carried a bouquet of pink and white silk roses and baby’s breath.
A reception followed in the church social hall where the wedding cake was served by Mrs. Judy Breeden and Mrs. Hester McDonald, sisters of the bride. Serving punch were Mrs. Vicky Elam and Miss Edie Dwyer. Miss Linda Heflifc. was mistress of ceremonies. * *After a brief trip the couple is residing in Millington, Tenn., where the bride-groom is stationed with the U.S. Naval Reserves.
