The Lodge at Wakefield Manor in Huntly is being readied for Wakefield School's first boarding students who will take up residence there before school opens September 8.
Once the guest house of Wakefield Manor, the Lodge has been painted and repaired in preparation for the arrival of the 12 boys who will be attending Wakefield's Preparatory School.
The Lodge is described by its owner. Col. Robert Dickey, as an historic building which incorporates part of the original log house of the Manor, built around 1700.
