RLEP Meets

The Rappahannock League for Environmental Protection will hold its annual membership meeting on Friday, September 5, at 7:30 p.m. in the court house.

In addition to election of officers, there will be a special slide presentation on “The Hidden Costs of Development" prepared by the Piedmont Environmental Council.

Nominees for officers of the organization include Phil Irwin for president, Karen Torneden for secretary, Hugh Chrisman for treasurer and Howard Holschuh for newsletter editor. Nominees to RLEP’s board of directors are Harry Clarkson, Bob Dennis. Ross Hales, Maurice Herndon, Beverly Hunter. Ned Johnson, Jim Northrup, George Sharp and David Thornhill. Nominees will also be accepted from the floor.
