Hospital will conduct the hour long program with help from Betsy, a demonstration doll from the American Cancer Society. Betsy is a neck to waist mannequin with breast nodules to teach women what they’re looking for in self-examinations.

In addition to the demonstration with informal question and answer period, there will be a film on BSE techniques from the Cancer Society as well as free literature.

The Flint Hill Homemakers urge ALL Rappahannock women to attend this special program. It can be life saving. According to the Cancer Society’s 1980 "Facts and Figures.” 90 percent of breast cancers are first discovered in selfexaminations.
