Add Months to
Your Grazing
Stockpile NOW with
Southern States Fertilizer
Here’s how you can extend the grazing /season for fescue and other forage /crops into the fall and winter months.
j If your pasture has not been grazed / down to 3-4 inches by mid-August, mow it. Then, top dress with 75-100 pounds of Southern States Nitrogen per acre. Apply Southern States Phosphate and Potash as indicated by soil test. Close off your fields. When you turn your herd in again after the first heavy frost, they'll get many extra tons of high-quality forage to cut feed costs and boost meat/milk production.
