For its grand opening on September 5. 6 and 7, Magic Mountain Cinema in Washington will present "Bound For Glory," a sweeping 133 minute version of the life story of Woody Guthrie, the famed thirties folksinger.
In addition to feature films, selected short subjects, cartoons and previews—a full bill of movie-going fare—the theater on Gay Street will be the site for other entertainment events. Coming soon are the Rappahannock County Library’s production of Gilbert and Sullivan's operetta "H.M.S. Pinafore" and Sursum Corda School and Day Care Center's annual talent show.
