Wake Up!

To the editor:

I can see why a bill for $4,940.65 would wake the supervisors up at their July 7th meeting for the work on the access road to the Amissville dump.

If they go down to inspect it, they won’t go to sleep on it, but will have time to take a nap. while waiting for the wrecker to pull them out later this fall and winter.

I would suggest all Rappahannock Supervisors and all taxpayers of Rappahannock County make a trip to it just to see where our tax dollars go. If this total bill is paid we are being "taken" to a tune of about $2500.

I am a firm believer in paying for what you receive, if you don’t receive don’t pay. Somewhere we need a change, evidently.
