—Rappahannock New* Pboto/S. La Am AFTER NUMEROUS COMPLAINTS of livestock killed and other property damage a 350-pound bear was trapped just off the F. T. Valley last week. The animal, a male, was tranquilized and tagged before it was transported to George Washington National Forest and released Friday. Its teeth were also examined to determine its age. Evidence indicated that he was very old. Game Commission Trapper Gerald Blank, right, and Division Supervisor Oliver Burkeholder were summoned by Rappahannock Game Warden Jim Bankston.
