Students in grades 6 and 7 at Wakefield School in Huntly experienced both the ancient and the modern in a field trip to the Air and Space Museum and the Washington Cathedral on October 28. The visit to the Washington Cathedral to observe the gothic architecture was designed for students in Mrs. Lynn's medieval and British history classes. Earth Science students under Mr. McGlothlin and Mrs. Pende Ford toured the Air and Space Museum and the planetarium in conjunction with recent studies on the solar system.
