All four constitutional amendments on the ballot won overhwelming support from county voters. The proposal for a mini-session of the General Assembly to give legislators an opportunity to override vetoes by the governor carried 1,332 to 644 in Rappahannock.Early returns steatewide showed the margin much closer. With 47 percincts reporting, the vote was 13,183 in favor and 12,471 opposed.

On question two—whethei to decrease the limit of town and city indebtedness—the vote in Rappahannock was 1,268 yes and 619 no. Question three on extending local options for tax relief for the elderly to include nonconventional homes carried 1,575 to 375.
