Halloween Event
Sursum Corda Day Care Center treated its preschoolers and toddlers to a special day of festivities on Halloween. A hayride at the farm of Gordon Hodgson near Washington highlighted the morning activities. The children also visited a spookhouse with a real witch in residence who played tricks and handed out treats.
In the afternoon, a Halloween party was held with pumpkin pie and a gigantic pumpkin pinata. The youngsters took turns striking the pinata which was filled with toys and treats. Adam Haase delivered the final blow which cracked open the pinata and the prizes and candy spilled out
