Another round of court action over the Nationwide Pentecostal Evangelistic Association’s campground on Route 622 east of Rock Mills js under way.
December 22, Tashington attorney David tonick filed for a writ of ^mandamus against zoning administrator Evan McNear, the Rappahannock supervisors and the NPEA. In action taken on behalf of neighboring landowner Alvin Grigsby, Konick is asking the ■ circuit court to (1) find current usage of the N PEA’s property in violation of the county’s zoning laws and (2) compel the supervisors and McNear to enforce provisions of that law allegedly violated by the NPEA.
In a recap of the two-yearold controversy over the Castleton campground, Konick notes in the writ that the NPEA’s 9.05 acres are part of the Lindgren-Noce tract rezoned from agriculture to residential subdivision several years ago.
