Mrs. Nick Penaranda at their home in Fairfax. Joining them for the occasion were Mrs. A. B. Honts of Front Royal, Mrs. G. R. Butler, Mrs. J. W. Hawkins, Mrs. C. G. Thornhill and Mr. and Mrs. Frank Duncan and daughter, all of Boston, Mrs. William Thornhill and Mrs. L. A. Wood, both of Culpeper. Fred Butler of Boston visited Mr. Weaver Saturday.
Mr. and Mrs. Robert Bridges have returned home after being called to Pasadena, Fla. due to the death of Mrs. Bridges’ father, Ralph A. Styer. Mrs. Styer returned with the Bridges and is a patient in Fauquier Hospital, Warrenton.
Weekend guests of Mrs. H. M. Keyser were Miss Judith Jacobsen of Alexandria and Joseph . Rosenthal of Washington, D. C.
Mr. and Mrs. George Ross of Kearneysville, W. Va. visited Mr. and Mrs. H. T. Updike Thursday. Sunday guests in the Updike home were Mr. and Mrs. Frank Parker, Frank Jr., Cassandra and Phillip and Mr. and Mrs. H. T. Updike Jr., Brian and Kellie, all of Culpeper.
Col. and Mrs. James S. Willis and James S. Willis III spent several days last week with Mr. and Mrs. W. A. Miller and Saturday were in Charlottesville to pick up their daughter, Michelle, who is a student at the University of Virginia. They were overnight guests of the Millers and returned to their home in West Point, N. Y. Sunday.
Mr. and Mrs. L. V. Merrill from DeBary, Fla. and Mark Bailey from Sarasota, Fla. arrived Tuesday to spend the holidays with Mr. and Mrs. Leon Bailey and Jonathan.
