well in both matters, she was accepted and learned silver appraising from her employer in Shaw and Brown Company. Bischoff remained there for fifteen years, buying, selling and appraising silver for museums, insurance companies and collectors.
After moving to Rappahannock County in 1973, she gradually began a business of her own. She now does appraisals for estates and individuals at their homes, returning to develop the details at her Castleton home where she has access to her private and extensive library on silver.
