The lake was stocked in 1978 with largemouth bass, tiger muskie, bluegill, redear sunfish and channel catfish and also contains good pickerel and crappie populations.
Fish biologist Jim McHugh reports the fish population is in good shape and he expects excellent action in the spring of 1981, particularly for bass and pickerel. Considerable standing timber was left in the lake which is expected to enhance the fishing experience.
