In other action, the commissioners agreed to advertise a rezoning request from Charles Dodson for public hearing at their January 21 meeting. Dodson, who owns three acres off Route 707 at Slate Mills, is seeking to rezone a small section 107 feet deep and 55 feet across for a commercial garage and inspection station. The 30 by 40 foot garage is already built and stocked, he said, but hasn’t been used for commercial operation.
