TDurrette also will be assisted by Jeff Gregson, currently the party’s executive director in Richmond, who will resign that post to become the Durrette campaign manager in January. In addition, Durrette hired veteran consultant Ed DeBolt, a top political strategist in Arlington who helped the successful campaigns of Republican Gov. John N. Dalton, former Gov. Mills E. Godwin Jr., U. S. Sen. Harry F. Byrd Jr., Warner, and, most recently, Congressmangleet Frank R. Wolf.
