PANSION—The school board talked and talked about capital outlay during year, the only concrete progress was a recommendation from superintendent William Bloomer : tor -tty two - ' classrooms at Rappahannock County High School. The current board has balked at setting a timetable for expansion projects and will continue into early 1981 its discussions on curriculum, a step the board members feel must preceed any decision on what additional space, if any, will be built.
At the same meeting at which the superintendent announced his recommendation for the construction of five new classrooms, the board announced its decision to advertize a vacancy for superintendent of schools as of July 1, 1981, the date Bloomer's current four-year contract expires.
