Square Dance
Scheduled
The Rappahannock Country Dancers are sponsoring a square dance on Saturday, May 30, at the Community Center in Washington. Music will be provided by the Bosom Buddies of Lansing, Mich., who play old-time Appalachian string music.
Jan Fowler will be the caller pf squares and contras and all of the dances will be taught. Admission is $2.50 and the dance begins at 8 p.m. The public is invited to attend.
Women To Meet
The monthly meeting of the Rappahannock Women’s Club will be held at 8 p.m. on Tuesday, May 26 at the home of Sharon Ferrence in Amissville.
Those unable to attend should call the hostess.
