Mr. and Mrs. Philip Butten, Mr. and Mrs. John Schultz, Mr. and Mrs. R. A. Baines, Mr. and Mrs. Robert Ingle, joined by Albert Doub of Amissville, attended the annual Lions state convention- in Hampton from Wednesday until Saturday last week as Rappahannock delegates. Mr. Schultz is past president, Mr. Ingle is currently president and Mr. Baines will take the position as of July 1. Mr. Doub is incoming secretary and Mr. Butten is deputy district governor for 24-A.
Mr. and Mrs. Philip Butten were picnic guests Sunday of Mr. and Mrs. Leaford Chastain in Louisa.
Mr. and Mrs. R. A. Baines were Saturday dinner guests of his - brothers-in-law and sisters, M«jiand Mrs. ChaphnGurley and Mr. and Mrs. Jack Riddick at Virginia Beach.
Mr. and Mrs. Robert Ingle and Chris with Daniel Gark of Flint Hill spent several days last week in Williamsburg and while there were dinner guests of Col. and Mrs. James Matthews.
