Mike Williams, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Thomas V. Williams of Flint Hill and a inember of the Fairmont State College track team, earned all-conference honors by placing fifth in the 1500 meter run May 3 in the West Virginia Intercollegiate* Athletic Conference track meet
He recorded a time of 4:16.5. which is less than a second slower than the Fairmont State School record in the event
Mike was one of the top runners on the Fairmont State cross country team last fall, helping the team compile an undefeated 8-0 season’s record in dual meets.
