Her husband. Dr. Carroll B. Quaintance, died in 1979.
She is survived by one daughter, Lucy Anne Maeyer of Herbornseelbach, West Germany; three grandchildren and two sisters, Mrs. Walter W. Stout Jr. of Cranford, N. J. and Mrs. Richard O. Smith of Alloway. N. J.
Services were held Tuesday at Trinity Episcopal Church in Washington with burial in Fairview Cemetery, Culpeper. Memorial contributions may be made to the Sperryville Rescue Squad.
