Willingham
Funeral services for Franklin Lee Willingham of Elkwood were conducted Sunday at the Geest-Johnson Funeral Home Chapel in Culpeper by the Rev. John S. Farrar. Burial was at Hillcrest Memory Gardens, Jeffersonton. Mr. Willingham, 61, died Thursday, May 14, 1981, in Fauquier Hospital, Warrenton. A native of Front Royal, he was the son of the late Andrew and Minnie Carter Willingham. He was an equipment operator for the Virginia Department of Highways.
Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Lillie Mae Moore Willingham; two sons, Robert Willingham of Madison and James W. Willingham of Elkwood; two daughters, Mrs. Barbara Toomey of Elkwood and Miss Frances Willingham of Berryville; and five grandchildren.
Also surviving are a brother, Lawrence Willingham of Madison; two sisters, Mrs. Margaret Mahoney of Huntly and Mrs. Virginia Wines of Front Royal, and a half-sister, Mrs. Elizabeth Goff of Amissville.
