Hospitalizing

Children

Is Topic

The Fauquier Hospital’s Pediatrics Department will discuss hospitalization of children Thursday at 7:30 p.m. in the third of a series of child care lectures.

Dr. Carl Schneider, pediatrician, and Patsy Coffman, RN, will present the program. The public is invited to attend.

Last week’s program was on poisons. Dr. Harold Markham emphasized not only the steps to take in getting treatment for poisoning but also how to help prevent accidental poisoning by the use of "Mr. Yuk” stickers. Dr. Markham warned parents who suspect a poisoning to call the poison center immediately for prompt help. The number is 1-804-924-5543.
