Quaintance

Mrs. Arthalinda P. Quaintance, 77, of Sperryville died Wednesday, May 13, 1981, in Culpeper Memorial Hospital. She was a daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Pancoast of Hancock’s Bridge, N. J.

She was graduated from Salem (New Jersey) High School in 1922 and received her B.S. from Rutgers University in 1932.

She was a teacher in the Cranford, N. J., school system for 33 years and for several years in the Rappahannock County Elementary School. She also served as a member of the Rappahannock County School Board. She was a member of the Society of
