Roland Wins

4-H Judging

Natalie Roland of Amissville took first place individual honors in the senior division for Rappahannock County's 4-H Horse and Pony Club at the District’s 4-H judging contest held last Sunday at Morven Park Equestrian Center in Leesburg.

4-H clubbers Kim and Meagan Revis, both juniors, and senior Brenda Lawrence, all of Amissville, also competed and qualified along with Natalie for the state judging championships to be held July 7 at Rapidan River Farm.

Club leader Jane Naramore reported that the district contest was only the second competition ever entered by her 4-H’ers. “None of the judges even knew where Rappahannock County was!" she added.
