use of that beautiful barn in Horseshoe Hollow owned by the Bird family. It really made the dance.
We thank the many happy bakers and organizers of the pie auction which brought us out of debt. The Stable Band's great string band music really got people on their feet, and thanks to the Rappahannock News, the county was well informed of the event.
Most of all, to all the people who came to the dance, and with patience for a neophyte caller, made the dance into a very fine evening.
We are now able to bring another nationally-known square dance band. The Bosom Buddies, to the community center Saturday. May 30.
