Recorder Operators Operate state-of-the-art wide-band digital recorders in a real-time environment on a round-the-clock schedule. Accomplish unit interface via CRT; mount/dismount large tapes and reels; degausse tapes; maintain accountability of blanks and record tapes; perform daily preventative maintenance on recorders ana tapes. Work in non-smoking area.
Archive Technicians Operate tape winder/cleaner; inspect tapes; certify tapes on tear unit; maintain precise records of tape status, issue and receipt accuracy is critical.
