There is more activity in real estate in the summer than the winter and a seasonal downtrend begins with the start of the school year in every region of the country.
A recent study shows that, nationally, sales typically jump nearly 30 percent in March over the January and February levels. Activity then continues to expand, although at a more modest pace, throughout the spring, reaching a peak in June and July.
