Jenkins and Mr. and Mrs. Robert Hawkins in Culpeper. Mr. and Mrs. Alfred Jenkins visited the Fraziers Saturday.

Guests of the Rev. W. B. Dennis during the fourth of July holiday weekend were Mr. and Mrs. Warren Dennis of Amissville, Mrs. Jack Dennis and Mrs. Myrtle Carpenter, both of Alexandria, and .Mr. and Mrs. Richard Dennis of Culpeper.

Holiday and weekend guests of Mr. and Mrs. Gordon Thornhill were Melanie Thornhill and Mary Ann Voltie of Charlottesville, Mr. and Mrs. C. G. Thornhill Jr., of Bumpass and Mr. and Mrs. David Thornhill of Woodville.

Robert Fincham of Culpeper spent the weekend with his brother and sister-inlaw, Mr. and Mrs. Raymond Fincham and family. Recently the Raymond Fincham family and Mr. and Mrs. Glenn Cave and Tonya were guests of Mr. and Mrs. Ray Gordon in Louisa.

Mr. and Mrs. Clarence W. Jenkins and their grandson, Stewart Gaines, spent Sunday with their son and daughter-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Charles H. Jenkins in Bentonville. Luncheon guests Wednesday of Mr. and Mrs. Cary Thornhill were Mr. and Mrs. William Hawkins and JoAnn of Alexandria, Mr. and Mrs. Frank Duncan, Mrs. Jesse Hawkins, Mr. and Mrs. George Butler and Mr. and Mrs. George Johnston.

Singers Perform

The Progressive Singers of Culpeper will perform at Hopewell Baptist Church in Sperryville on Sunday, July 12, at 3 p.m. This will be the closing of the Women’s Rally, and is sponsored by Rachel Aylor.
