A graveside service for David Darius Miller, 83, of Washington was held Thursday morning at 11 a.m. in the Washington Masonic Cemetery there. The Rev. Jennin(£ Hobson III conducted the service. Mr. Miller died July 7, 1981 in the VA Hospital at Martinsburg, W. Va.
Mr. Miller, a native of Rappahannock County, was the son of the late Harry Jackson and Frances West Miller, bom in December 1897. He was a member of and past Senior Warden of Trinity Episcopal Church in

Funeral services for George Franklin Lawrence of Amissville were conducted Monday at Amissville Baptist Church by the Rev. Joseph S. Stirman Jr. Burial was in the church cemetery.
Mr. Lawrence, 48, a plumber and electrician, died on Thursday, July 2, 1981 while working on a job at Flint Hill. A native of Amissville, he was the son of the late Charles Gilbert and Rachel Creel Lawrence.
He was a member of the Amissville Baptist Church and the Amissville Ruritan Club. He served in the U. S. Army during the 1950s.
Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Alice Weaver Lawrence; two daughters, Beverly Gale Lawrence and Brenda Carol Lawrence, both of Amissville; two brothers, Charles Gilbert Lawrence Jr., and Edward Alton Lawrence, both of Amissville; four sisters, Mrs. Harvey Poe of Amissville, Mrs. Robert Cunningham of Fairfax, Mrs. Thurman Wine of Falmouth and Mrs. John Jackson of Annandale. Members of the Amissville Ruritan Club who served as pallbearers were Stanley Settle, Charlie Priest, Nelson Burner, Silas O’Bannon, Charlie Mills, Russell Hackley, Fred Naramore, and T. L Eastham.
