school. From the looks of the school you would think George scored 30 points in last weeks basketball game. Quite a few of the classes have been doing skits and background history on Washington. From talking to a few of the history students it seems that in the last week they have come to respect the contributions of "Our Founding Father" a little more.
The senior class jacket sale was a bigger succes than expected. During a period of less than one week, the class raised approximately six hundred dollars. Ms. Griffin, the most active class sponsor, thought the project was a success. “I had my doubts from the beginning, but it turned into quite a success. No other project could have produced this amount of money.” She also feels that the students who put forth the most effort gained a considerable amount of selling experience.
