Lay-ups by Leake and Frye with Fletcher banging the boards at both ends of the court put the Panthers ahead 9-4 with 4:42 left in the quarter. Martin and Myers fed the big men underneath the basket and the buzzer found RCHS on top. 19-12. At the start of the second period, it was all Glenn Fletcher, hitting from the corner and from underneath and feeding in to Lee Anderson for a third score to put the Panthers in front, 25lb. With 1:33 left, a pass from Martin to Leake widened the Panther lead to double figures, 33-21. for the first time in the game.
