Budget Schedule
Under a sechedule suggested by Estabrook, the proposed 1982-83 budget will be presented to the school board in two parts on February 23 and March 16.
Public response will be accepted at a meeting set for March 23 and the board will adopt the budget on March 30 in time for school funding requests to be forwarded to the supervisors by the April 1 deadline.
“You realize we’ll be submitting that budget on April Fools Day!” joked the superintendent, eliciting chuckles from the school board members.
