“Will somebody move that such a committee be formed." Miller said. Brad Fisher made the motion, and it was carried uanimously.
Miller asked Dorothy Hawkins to be on the committee, along with Peter Kramer and a third person to be named in the future.
In other business, the council voted to let the Woman s Club borrow a runner from the town for its fashion show, and took no action on complaints, relayed by council members, that haphazard parking around the courthouse and school buses parked at the corner of Blue Ridge Avenue and Main street presented obstacles to snow removal equipment. The council voted to adjourn about 8:15 p.m.
