Wednesday Morning
We woke up in the morning at about 6:30. By 6:45 we had about eight people in our room playing nerf basketball. There w as no ice so the ice bucket was filled with potato chips. Empty Mr. Pibb and Coke cans were all around.
We went to breakfast and sat with anybody we wanted. One special thing about the cafeteria was one lady was super fast w ith the dishes.
We went to the House of Burgesses. It was pretty with round windows and really big rooms. I enjoyed that the most.
We went to shops like the Gunsmith and we also went to see a cooper at work making barrels. My favorite thing in the morning was the huge colorful Bruton Church with big round windows and pews.
Then we ended the morning with lunch at the cafeteria.

Wednesday Afternoon
The Powell-Waller house was an example of a house in colonial times. It was interesting. and we asked> many questions. The parlor was the most interesting, especially the pipe tool.
We next toured the Capitol, We were able to go to the pillory and saw the jail. We also toured the old Courthouse. We saw the place where the House of Burgesses met in sessions; above it was the Governor's Council meeting room with fine furniture
The College of William and Mary was enjoyable. We sat where the teachers and students sat for their classes. They told us it was strenuous work for the students to work from dawn till dark, except to break for lunch.
Next, we went to the Governor's Palace pretending that we had a petition for the governor. We were amazed at
