Kobert Dennis, one oi the 12 landowners involved in the Wakefield ag district application, acknowledged that the impact of use value assessments on county finances is an issue. He recalled, however, that when the supervisors had adopted the county-wide program, he had suggested that use value be tied to the eight year commitment from landowners required by an ag district. The aplicants in the Wakefield ag district want to assure the supervisors that they intend to keep their properties in present use for at least eight years, Dennis reported, noting that several also had their land under open space easements
