The Thomassons decided they’d rather switch than fight so they sold their shop in the city, rented space at the Clopton House in Washington for the newly dubbed Country Heritage and sat down at the drawing board to refine plans for a home at Blackwater Creek. “We’re building the house itself—a large log cabin—from the land itself.
